About us

The Fritz and Margot Faudi Foundation supports research projects on methods of conserving clean air, water and soil, the development of cleaner production methods and energy conversion processes as well as climate change issues. 
 
Since 1973, almost 9 million euros have been provided for fundamental and application-oriented research work. With the support of more than 100 projects to date, the innovative founding approach of promoting forward-looking environmental and energy topics lives on. The Executive Board decides on the allocation of funding with the support of the Scientific Advisory Board and external experts.
  
We also support the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship at TU Darmstadt with ten scholarships totalling 18,000 euros each year.

The funding period for the years 2021 to 2023 has been completed. The call for applications at TU Darmstadt for the years 2024 to 2026 has been issued. The foundation’s advisory board has selected five projects to be funded.
