Fritz Faudi (1875-1955) – inventor with heart and soul<\/h2>\n

Fritz Faudi was a dedicated inventor and pioneer of automotive and aviation technology throughout his life, and his name is still associated with countless innovations such as ball joints, cardan shafts and universal joints, as well as later inventions relating to filtration.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a convinced European, he worked together with English and French companies. The company he founded, Faudi Feinbau in Oberursel, developed and produced high-performance filters, large filters and disc filters from 1938 onwards. In 1955, he was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his lifelong commitment to research and technology. <\/span><\/p>\n

Fritz Faudi’s Vision: Our environment as a global challenge<\/span><\/h3>\n

As early as in the 1950s, Fritz Faudi recognised the importance of topics such as the environment and energy for the future, and his commitment would continue to have an impact on future generations even after his death. <\/span><\/p>\n

The childless Faudi couple decided to transfer their inheritance to a charitable foundation. This was to support research projects at Technische Hochschule Darmstadt (now the Technical University of Darmstadt) in the field of process engineering (keeping soil, air and water clean) and in the field of econometrics. <\/span><\/p>\n

After the death of her husband, Margot Faudi saw to the implementation of the Faudi Foundation, which was approved by the Hessian Minister of the Interior on 12 June 1972.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
